At ETFI Jörg researches the interaction between people and machines. To his research he connects the term man-machine interaction such as the use of smartphones. Jörg estimates the impact of man-machine interaction in tourism experiences. He also examines the influence of virtual reality on customer behaviour. He studies to what extent the application of virtual reality can help organisations to make tourism consumption more sustainable. Besides undertaking research, Jörg is also a lecturer at the undergraduate Tourism Management programme of NHL Stenden University.
