Ready for the future of travel
More and more people are going on holidays as traveling becomes cheaper. Tourism has become the most important economic activity in the world. Nevertheless, the sector is increasingly concerned about mass tourism. Therefore, ETFI emphasises in the TV show VPRO Tegenlicht how tourism is changing now and in the future.
Resilient tourism policy
Students from NHL Stenden's Master in Leisure and Tourism Studies are inspired by us to discover the future of tourism and to learn how to deal with this. During our field trip to the Dutch island Vlieland, students faced the complex and dynamic nature of policy-making for tourism. They shared their knowledge about the future of traveling during the recording of the VPRO Tegenlicht broadcast.
