The State of Water Recreation in the Netherlands

Our sustainable tourism expert Jasper Heslinga is attending The State of Water Recreating in the Netherlands symposium. Waterrecreatie Nederland, in collaboration with the MOCO and CELTH monitoring consortium, is organising a national symposium dedicated to research on water recreation and water sports in the Netherlands. The symposium is aiming to:

  • Stimulate the exchange of results of recent studies in the field of water sports, water recreation and water experience.
  • Build a sustainable knowledge network in which researchers, policy makers, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders exchange experiences, data and knowledge.
  • Collect input for a knowledge agenda Monitoring Water Recreation and its financing.
